Internship with the Facing Project, due December 16

The Facing Project is a nonprofit organization that connects people through stories to strengthen communities. Interns will be tasked with running social media pages, curate and highlight stories from the Facing Project, create eBooks, and other necessary activities relating to the position. The internship will take place over a period of 15 weeks. A stipend of $500 will be paid out over the 15 week period. Office Assistant with the Intensive English Institute, due December 17

The Intensive English Institute, IEI, is looking for a student worker to fill an Office Assistant position. The person selected will provide administrative support to the IEI office and work under the supervision of the Program Coordinator. Other administrative staff and faculty of the department will require support. Classes in this department run year-round, so there may be additional hours during BSU closure periods. Student should be prepared to work independently given departmental policies and guidelines and have an interest in, and respect for, a multicultural environment. Duties include, but are not limited to: mail pick-up, photocopying and collating documents, word processing, data entry, shredding, filing of faculty and student documents, creating new student files, printing forms and assembling documents, assist with walk-ins and answer phones, make deliveries around campus, scan documents and create PDF’s, assist with maintaining bulletin boards and help with posters and flyers, and post physical and digital information. Office Assistant assists faculty with educational materials checkout, light computer maintenance, software use and application. YouthWorks is a multi-denominational, nonprofit organization that exists to connect teenagers to God, each other and communities through life-changing, Christ-centered mission trips. As 30,000 people take part in service this summer at over 70 communities, we need over 300 college and post-college-age staff to be on the front lines leading this ministry.
